PERMADUR Plate Handling Systems provide SAFE and EFFICIENT Material Handling. The system pictured is a PERMADUR Series 714 Plate/Disc/Skeleton Handling System with 14 TP-2000 lifting magnets on a 25′ load beam. Each magnet crossarm and each magnet on each crossarm can be manually repositioned on the load beam.
The controller provides selectivity by row (7) and offers Permadur’s exclusive Safety Indicator Lighting System that confirms the magnets have attached to the load in preparation for a safe lift. It also offers three ON modes: All ON; Disc ON/Skel OFF; Skel ON/Disc OFF. Both the radio remote and hardwired pendant offer these options to facilitate the specific use of this system.
This system attaches to a single-hook crane via a 4-part sling and utilizes a 460 VAC power supply (by customer).
