The pictured system is a PERMADUR Series 406 Plate/Disc Handling System. This system consists of a 330 Power Pac with turnbuckle structural slings, a 36″ main beam, and two 48″ crossarms with 2 ea. 36″ crossarms welded to them to create a box supporting 6 ea. VPN-16-30 vacuum pads.
This design enables the system to handle 64″ OD discs with a 17″ OD × 7-1/2″ high grapple plate in the center. The system has an 8000 lb capacity and utilizes a 460 VAC power supply. Built into the beam were 2 sit-down legs to support the system when not in use. Brochure detail photos show Power Pac internal components including motor/pump assembly, vacuum control valve, and filters.
