PERMADUR Plate Handling Systems provide SAFE and EFFICIENT Material Handling. The system pictured is a PERMADUR Series 816 Plate Handling System with 16 FP-4000 lifting magnets on a 44′ load beam. Each of the magnet crossarms can be manually repositioned on the load beam.
The controller provides selectivity by row (8). It also offers Permadur’s exclusive Safety Indicator Lighting System that confirms the magnets have attached to the load in preparation for a safe lift.
This system attaches to a single-hook crane via a low headroom intermediate beam design. Power is an on-board 24 VDC battery supply that provides approximately 400 lifts between recharging. The controller also offers radio remote ON/OFF controls in addition to a hardwired pendant.
