PERMADUR Thin Plate Handling Systems. Through the use of the PERMADUR BPR-350 ElectroPerm lifting magnet, Permadur builds plate handling systems that can provide single plate handling off a stack down to 16–18 ga. plate.
The pictured Series 612 system is being used to handle 4×8 and 5×10 plates from 11 ga. to 1″ thick (2100# max.). As with other Permadur systems, all that is required is a brief pulse of current to the magnets to turn them ON or OFF. These magnets will not drop a load due to loss of electrical power.
