The system pictured is a PERMADUR Series 515 Plate/Part Handling System. This system consisted of a 1500 Power Pac and fifteen vacuum pads on a 10′ load beam. Ten VPN-20-30 vacuum pads and 5 VPN-6SO-30 pads on five crossarms support 8′×12′ plate loading (up to 4″ thick).
The system load beam was designed to be attached to a single-hook crane via the bail and turnbuckle sling on the Power Pac. The system is powered by a 460 VAC power supply.
