The system pictured is a PERMADUR Series 408 Plate/Part Handling System. This system consisted of a 1500 Power Pac and eight vacuum pads on a 36′ load beam. Eight VPN-24-30 vacuum pads on four crossarms support 10′×40′ plate loading.
The system load beam was designed to be attached to a double-hook crane. The system is powered by a 460 VAC power supply and provides an interface with crane radio remote ON/OFF/OFF controls.
