PERMADUR Multiple Part Handling Systems dramatically increase torch ON time. The system pictured is a PERMADUR Series 115 Plate/Multiple Part Handling System with 15 ea. BP-1600×72 lifting magnets on a 10′ load beam. The magnets are fixed on 8″ centers.
The controller provides selectivity by magnet (15 ea.) and PERMADUR’s exclusive Safety Indicator Lighting System that confirms the magnets have attached to the load in preparation for a safe lift. The controller was also built with system ON/OFF/HIGH radio controls in addition to hard-wired PB pendant controls. The system included a Skeleton Picker Frame Assembly to support separation of parts/skeleton at a parts separation area. The system load beam supported attachment to a single-hook crane via a low-headroom intermediate beam design.
