Pictured are two style Permadur Series 102 Plate/Part Handling Systems with 2 ea. TP-2000 lifting magnets suspended on a 6′ load beam with a shackle/ring assembly for attachment to a single-hook hoist. The system includes a #547 AC powered relay pushbutton controller.
The controller includes Permadur’s exclusive (-S) Safety Indicator Lighting System to tell the operator when the magnets have attached to the load in preparation for a safe lift. The controller also provides the capability to interface the controls with ON/OFF pushbuttons on the hoist pendant or crane radio controller. Both style systems have the magnets on cam followers to facilitate repositioning for changes in part sizes. The individual system pictured has, additionally, a lead screw to support repositioning of the magnets, while the two systems shown together require manual repositioning.
